The inbox

The twenty questions you answer every week, answered in minutes, in your words, at 3am the same as at noon. Anything that needs a person is marked as needing one.

Every small business answers the same twenty questions every week. What are your hours, do you service my suburb, how much does it cost roughly, how soon can you come, do you take my kind of funding.

Those answers do not need you. They need to be right, in your voice, and fast.

What it costs you when it is missing

Speed of first reply is one of the few things that reliably decides who wins a job when several businesses are quoted. An enquiry answered in four minutes and one answered the next afternoon are not competing on equal terms.

What gets installed

  • The repeat questions answered from material you signed off
  • Your tone, agreed in writing before anything goes live
  • A clear statement that the reply is automated
  • Escalation to you for anything outside the approved material
  • Nothing quoted, committed or promised without a person, unless you explicitly widen it

The line it does not cross

It answers questions. It does not negotiate, discount, commit to a date it cannot see, or speak to a customer in your name about anything it was not given. Those cross the gate, which is described in the bounds.

It goes in on day seventeen of the install.

Questions people actually ask

Will it make things up?

It answers from material you approved and nothing else. When it does not know, it says so and marks the enquiry as needing a person. An inbox that guesses would cost you more than a slow one.

Can customers tell?

The first reply says plainly that it is automated and that a person will follow up if needed. Pretending otherwise is the fastest way to lose someone’s trust.

Eight businesses, one operator

Send one paragraph about the business.

What it does, what it charges, and which of the six systems is hurting most. You will get back a fixed price, a start date, and an honest answer about whether an install is even the right thing for you.
