What gets installed

A company is really just six systems

A front door, a funnel, an inbox, a back office, demand, and one page of numbers each morning. Large companies have had all six for thirty years and paid a department for each.

Every business runs these six, whether anyone has named them or not. In most small businesses they exist as a person doing them by hand, late, between other jobs. Or they do not exist at all and the work is simply dropped, which is harder to see and more expensive.

The reason they are worth naming is that they hand off to each other. An enquiry arrives through demand, lands in the funnel, gets answered by the inbox, becomes a job that the back office invoices, and shows up the next morning as a number. A pile of separate tools never does that handoff. That gap is where small businesses lose most of what they lose.

The six

  • The front door. A site that loads fast, says the right thing to the right customer, and can actually be found.
  • The funnel. Every call, form, message and referral in one place, with follow-up that continues after you have forgotten.
  • The inbox. The twenty questions you answer every week, answered in minutes, in your words, at any hour.
  • The back office. Invoices out, payments matched, and every date with a deadline watched from the day it is issued.
  • Demand. Pages for the places you actually serve, listings kept accurate, and spend pruned rather than grown.
  • The morning page. One page, once a day, in sentences. What came in, what went out, what is late, what needs you.

Why the price can be fixed

Each of these has been built more than once already, on businesses we own and still run. Nothing here is being invented for you, which is the only honest reason a studio can promise a price and a date before starting.

The whole set goes in during a three week install, or you can run them yourself from the playbooks.

Questions people actually ask

Do I have to take all six?

The install is all six, because they hand off to each other and installing three of them leaves the gaps where work goes missing. If you only want one thing fixed, say which and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing on its own.

What if I already have some of these?

Most businesses have two or three, usually the site and some form of invoicing. We audit what exists, keep what works and connect it to the rest. You do not pay to rebuild something that is already fine.
